Who says recycling has to be a chore? Recycling can actually be super fashionable. Don’t believe me? Ask celebrities. People like Julia Roberts and Alicia Silverstone all are going green in their own way. Not only are celebrities going green, but some are even sporting recycled accessories. Some super cute recycled items I’ve seen in stores are purses made out of license plates, tote bags made out of Caprisun pouches(I have this one), bags and wallets made out of seat belts, and even belts made out of recycled tires and seat belt buckles. My favorite recycled fashion item is the bottle cap necklaces that are actually available in the Dekoposh store in Another way to keep recycling fun and fashionable, have a recycling fashion party. Invite tons of friends and ask them all to clean out the dressers and closets. Have them fill a garbage bag with all their old clothes, clothes that don’t fit, or just clothes they don’t really wear. At the party have all your friends lay out their clothes, and then go shopping! Maybe that adorable top your friend grew out of now fits you. That’s recycling! At the end of the party, take all the clothes no one picked out to a Salvation Army, homeless shelter, or any other charity. Now that’s going green in style!
