Helloooo! Sorry my column is late this week, but at least it is here! :)
I hope you all checked out my blog last week on how to take care of your make-up products. This is the most important part to ensure you avoid infections and breakouts.
I am going to teach you how to properly clean your brushes. This is very crucial because any dirt, oil, and bacteria on your face will be transferred onto your brush when you use it. And when you use your brush the next day, the bacteria will be applied to your face! Gross, right?!
You will need an antibacterial soap--either hand soap or dish soap, paper towels, and water. First, put the soap in a bowl or plate and swirl the brush around to get the soap on every bristle. Do not swirl or rub too hard, you do not want the bristles to fall off. Then, go to the sink and wash the soap off the brush as if you were shampooing hair. Swirl it in your hand until the water runs clean, then you will know all the makeup is cleaned out of your brush. Let them air dry on a stack of a couple paper towels. You are done!
Now how easy was that!
