The NBA superstar and his team, the Charlotte Bobcats, recently made a donation of $250,000 in order to save the district of Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools' sports system after it was cut out entirely by budget cuts. According to the district, along with the new budget, rules state that students would have to pay to play!
Did you know? Jordan attended school in North Carolina, so maybe it’s not such a surprise that he’s giving back to the Charlotte community! Because of him and the Bobcats, students will continue to have access to sports programs in their schools.
