Aily Zhang of Castro Valley High School is president of the United Cause Club, which is dedicated to helping the neediest people in her local community as well as globally. She has organized many of the club’s charitable activities, such as a book drive for an orphanage in China, a care package drive for an orphanage in Mexico, and a school-wide world hunger awareness campaign. From her overseas travel, she has developed an interest in international politics. She is president and founder of her school’s Model United Nations Club. She plans to attend college and major in public health and international relations. Her dream is to work with Doctors Without Borders as a pediatrician.
