Newly grownup Miley Cyrus has drawn a fresh supporter -- and it's someone who's been the down teen-idol road before. In an interview with Us Weekly, '80s pop star Tiffany defended Hannah Montana's risque new image. Seventeen-year-old Cyrus has been criticized for behavior that many feel is not befitting a teen who is not yet of legal voting age. The "Party in the U.S.A." singer most recently came under fire for wearing a skimpy bodysuit to June's Much Music Awards, where she performed her new single "Can't Be Tamed." And the tight, black leather pants she wore for an MTV concert last week can't be winning her any fans in the modesty department.
The video for "Tamed" was itself called out for being too risque as was Miley's "Britain's Got Talent" appearance. On the show, the teenage triple threat faked a sultry kiss with a backup dancer.
